There are so many issues that are important today in Gaston County. The three issues that our campaign is focusing on are jobs, education and the families in Gaston County.

• Education- Working to get the funding our education systems needs to bring it back to excellence. She will work to keep our More at 4 program and Pre-Kindergarten programs going.
• Jobs- Working to get more new industries to relocate to Gaston County and bring more and better quality jobs to our families.
• Families- Education, jobs and better access to health care are things that can trouble our families. Dodie will    fight to make sure that affordable health care is available to each and every resident of Gaston County. She is also against the Garden Parkway Toll Road which would have a negative impact on the families in our district.
